I was born in the small town of Bessemer, Alabama, where sweet smelling honeysuckles and fragrant magnolias always seemed to fill the air.

When I was ten years old my family and I left Bessemer to travel within the charm of old world Europe. After spending two years abroad, we returned to the USA and travelled throughout the South and Southwest.

Finally we made our new home in the international city of  San Antonio, where I graduated from Robert G. Cole High School and went on to receive a B.A. in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word.

I taught in both public and private schools for a number of years.

Then God gave me a new life---a life ripe with the purpose of His call.

From writing for a Christian magazine, to becoming a radio announcer on Christian station KDRY, to speaking before the public; He put what had been hidden deep within me on display. Then He carefully crafted the people and circumstances in my experiences into words that I hope will assure you of this:

He knows. He cares. He loves us all.

His greatest desire is that we choose to accept the salvation His Son offers  out of His great love  for us, as a free gift to everyone who believes.

Now I write to His Glory hoping to point others to Christ.
