![]() A Child of God
by Wanda Thomas Littles
I'm a lollipop. I'm a lemon drop.
Grandma says,
I'm as sweet as cotton candy.
I'm a cherry tomato.
I'm a sweet potato.
Grandpa says,
I'm as cute as a pea in a pod.
But if you really want
to know who I am
it's simple —
I'm a child of God.
God Spoke To Me This Morning A Look at Nature by Wanda Thomas Littles God spoke to me this morning with His big sunrise. What a warm smile!
He whispered to me in His gentle breeze.
He said, "Look at My flowers in bloom.
They're just like My people, no two alike.
How they bow when they see My face."Then He made little pats of rain fall from the sky.
The earth was so tickled by the pitter pats that it gave off
an aroma that said,
"God is good."
God spoke to me this morning.
He said, "Look at My bumblebee, who didn't wipe off all
the breakfast honey
when she ate with My butterfly."
Then that cute little bumble bee
buzzed, buzzed, buzzed, around my head,
![]() to let me know that God spoke to her, too.
God spoke to me this morning.
He said, "I made all these things just for you,
because I love you.”
"Thank You God,
I love You too!”
